Objective In
recent years, make-to-order is becoming more challenging for OEM and ODM
manufacturers to handle. It is because
overseas buyers are more demanding with shorter order lead-time and smaller
order size. We
observed that even just a single mismanaged material procurement and
inventory can turn the whole production floor into a chaotic condition. In 2004, some manufacturers spent over
millions dollars on air freight for late shipment. In view of that, the objectives of the seminar are to guide our audiences to understand the reasons behind and what they should do in advance to make their make-to-order businesses more flexible and controllable.
