Introduction
Over 400 exhibitors from around the world converged on Hong Kong Information Infrastructure Expo (II Expo) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre to showcase latest information and communication technologies (ICT), services and products. It provided a platform for industry players to be exposed to new developments and strike up strategic partnerships as well.
The HKTDC had also organized a number of conference and forums on the topics such as 2003 Guangdong-Hong Kong E-logistics, Information Security, Octopus and Tripartite Partnership. The first 4 days (18-21 Feb) were opened to business visitors only while the last day (22 Feb) was opened to public.
The Theme Zones were divided into Information Security, E-Logistics and Retail Technology, Enterprise Informatisation, Digital Entertainment and Telecom, Mobile and Wireless Area.
Other Attractions were Hall of Innovations, International Pavilion, Tripartite Partnership Forum (China-HK-Overseas), Financing Forum, "IT Clinic" Pre-fair Online Matching and Side Visits for Hong Kong and Overseas delegates to PRD high-growth cities.
